Train Cancellations Announced: Check Full List Before You Travel on This Route

Train Cancelled: Major news for railway passengers. Millions of people travel by train every day in the country. Thousands of trains are operated by the Railways for these purposes. Therefore, any change in operations on any route directly impacts passengers’ plans. The Bilaspur Zone of the South East Central Railway has decided to cancel several local trains passing through Chhattisgarh due to proposed infrastructure work in the Nagpur Division.

This includes the major MEMU and passenger services on the Raipur route, which are relied upon by a large number of passengers daily. RH girder launch and de-launch work will be carried out for box pushing at level crossing number 481 between the Boratlav and Dareksa section, ensuring smooth rail operations in the future. Passengers are advised by the Railways to check the updated and complete schedule before traveling.

Trains will remain cancelled in February and March

Technical work will impact the operation of several passenger trains in February and March. According to information received from the South East Central Railway, a traffic-less power block will be imposed on the up and down lines on February 13th and 14th, 2026. This will be followed by another block on March 13th and 14th, 2026, for de-launching.

During this period, the process of launching and de-launching will also be finalized on the third line. Because of this work, some trains will be cancelled, and the schedules of others might be impacted. The Railways recommends that passengers verify their train status prior to traveling to prevent any inconvenience.
