Silver Rate Today: Gold and silver prices are continuously rising. On Thursday, January 29, gold prices surged on the MCX. MCX gold February futures rose by approximately ₹10,000 or 6% to reach ₹1,75,869 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver reached a record high of ₹4,06,863 per kilogram. For the first time, the price of silver has crossed ₹4 lakh per kilogram today. Gold prices may also reach close to ₹1,80,000 per 10 grams. Gold and silver prices are fluctuating daily. The rates of gold and silver are continuously increasing.
Gold and Silver Prices on MCX
On Wednesday, gold closed at ₹1,66,355 per 10 grams on the MCX, which has now reached ₹1,79,186 per 10 grams. Yesterday, silver prices closed at their all-time high of ₹3,86,530 per kilogram, and today they have set a new all-time high again. The price of silver has reached ₹4,05,000 per kilogram today.

According to the Indian Bullion Jewellers Association (IBJA), on January 28, silver was recorded at ₹3,58,267 per kilogram, about 4 per cent higher than the previous day.
Market experts say that when economic and political uncertainty increases, the demand for gold and silver rises.
