PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment: India is home to millions of farmers. Many of these farmers are not financially well off. The Government of India runs the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for these poor and needy farmers, ensuring they receive fixed financial assistance throughout the year. Under this scheme, the central government provides 6,000 rupees annually to eligible farmers.
These are sent directly to the account in separate installments. Now, a major update is emerging regarding the 22nd installment of this scheme. Farmers have been waiting for this installment for a long time. However, it’s important to know that this installment could be delayed for many farmers if certain tasks are not completed. Therefore, it’s crucial to gather the correct information and complete the necessary tasks in a timely manner.
When can the 22nd installment be released?
Installments under the PM Kisan Yojana have been released at regular intervals. Typically, each installment is transferred to farmers’ accounts approximately every four months. Based on the timeline for the previous installment, the next four months are ending in February. Based on this, it is believed that the 22nd installment may be released in February. However, no official date has been announced by the government yet.
Nevertheless, it is believed that the installment will be released in February, as per the old pattern. Therefore, farmers are advised to check their status now rather than waiting until the last minute. As soon as the installment is released, farmers with incomplete information may be automatically excluded from the list.
Get these tasks done
If you want the 22nd installment to arrive in your account without any interruptions, it’s crucial to complete a few important tasks on time. First, check your e-KYC status. In many cases, installments are withheld simply because of incomplete e-KYC. Furthermore, land verification is a crucial process to ensure that the beneficiary is indeed an eligible farmer.
This process has been made mandatory in many states. Also, ensure there are no errors in your Aadhaar card, bank account, and land record information. Even the slightest discrepancy in your name, account number, or Aadhaar could result in a delay in your installment. Therefore, it’s best to update your details promptly via the official portal or by visiting your nearest agriculture office.
