Changes to School Timetables
According to the directives issued by the District Magistrate, all schools in Noida (Delhi-NCR) will now operate from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. These revised school timings come into effect on April 27, 2026, and will remain fully operational until further orders are issued.
The district administration stated that this decision was taken due to the increasing intensity of the heatwave and the health risks posed by the hot summer winds—commonly referred to as ‘Loo.’ Extreme heat can lead to fatigue and may even cause heatstroke. Specific instructions regarding safety precautions have been issued, particularly for school-going children.
Compliance with the District Magistrate’s Order
The District Administration of Gautam Buddha Nagar has issued directives to modify the timings for all government, private, and board-affiliated schools. All schools have been instructed to strictly adhere to the new schedule.
