What is the difference between the old and new voter ID cards
The Election Commission keeps making changes from time to time to make the voter ID card better. While the old cards were vertical, i.e., long in shape, the new cards are horizontal, i.e., oblong in shape, which looks exactly like a PAN card. The easiest way to get a new PVC voter ID card
You can easily get your new voter ID card made by following some easy steps.
First of all, search for ‘Voter’s Service Portal’ on your phone or computer and go to the official website of the Election Commission.
If you do not already have an account, sign up using your email ID and mobile number and create a new account.
After logging in, click on the ‘Form 8’ option, which stands for ‘Shifting of Residence/Correction of Entries in Existing Electoral Roll/Replacement of EPIC’.
In the next step, choose who you are applying to. If you are applying for yourself, choose ‘Self’.
Now enter your EPIC (Voter ID Card) number.
When asked why you are getting a new card, choose the option ‘Issue of replacement EPIC without correction’.

Now your form will be submitted, and you will get a service request number.
