There is big news for crores of Ladli sisters waiting for the next installment of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahana Yojana! The 24th installment of this scheme will now be released by the 15th, because the government has changed the date of sending the amount. During the cabinet meeting held in April, the Mohan government had decided that it would send the amount to the sisters’ accounts around the 15th of every month. This news has brought a big relief for the Ladli sisters.
Gift on cylinder refill too
Although, till March 2025, the amount of the scheme was released in the account of the Ladli sisters between the 1st to 10th of every month, but on April 16, ₹ 1250 of the 23rd installment was sent and now for the next installment, one will have to wait not till 10th but till 15th. Apart from this, the amount for cylinder refilling will also be released to more than 25 lakh sisters on the same day. This will be an occasion of two happiness together for the Ladli sisters.
₹ 1550 crore needed at the rate of ₹ 1250 every month
The government needs more than ₹ 1500 crore every month for Ladli Behna Yojana and recently the government has also increased the dearness allowance of employees and pensioners. In such a situation, now the Madhya Pradesh government is waiting to get ₹ 1.11 lakh crore as part of the Union Budget of 2025-26.
This tax received from the central government comes in 14 installments every year and this fund comes on the 10th of every month. There are also reports that due to the release of funds on the 10th of every month, the state government has changed the date of release of the amount of Ladli Behna Yojana.
Now under this amazing scheme, women also get the ₹ 15,000 annually at the rate of ₹ 1250 per month. A total of 23 installments of monthly financial assistance amount have been transferred to the accounts of Ladli sisters from June 2023 to April 2025. This is making women financially strong.
Who is eligible
- In this scheme, all married women who are local residents of Madhya Pradesh and born after 1 January 1963 but till 1 January 2000 are considered eligible to apply in the year 2023. This ensures that as many needy women as possible get the benefit of this scheme.
- There should be no income tax payer in the women or their family. The annual income of the total family should be less than the ₹ 2.5 lakh. It targets economically weaker families.
- If a woman is below 60 years of age and is already receiving an amount of less than ₹ 1250 per month under any other social security pension scheme, then that woman will also be given an amount up to ₹ 1250. This ensures that all needy women get at least this amount.
- Married women also include widows and divorced women. The applicant must have completed 21 years of age on 1st January of the year in which the application is being made and the maximum age should be less than 60 years. It targets young and middle-aged women.
- If the woman’s husband is not eligible to receive benefits under the government scheme, then she will also not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. This makes the rules of the scheme consistent.

- Click on the option of “Application and Payment Status” on the main page of the website. This will take you to the right place.
- After reaching the second page, enter your application number or member overall number. This will establish your identity.
- After submitting the captcha code, an OTP will be sent to the mobile. This is an important part of security. Enter the OTP received on the mobile number and verify. This is your confirmation.
- After verifying the OTP click on “Search” option and your payment status will open. It will give you the information immediately.
