What is ‘Navya Yojana’
Not many people know about this new ‘Navya Yojana’ of the government yet. Let us tell you that this scheme is an important part of the Modi government’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. This is a pilot project,which has been jointly launched by the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. It has started from Sonbhadra,Uttar Pradesh,and will be implemented in 27 districts of 19 states of the country. This is a step that will strengthen women’s skill development at the grassroots level.

If your daughter is 16 years old,then she will get to learn a lot by joining the Navya Yojana. Under this scheme,girls will be trained in technical and vocational skills,which include:

Who can join this scheme
Only those girls can take advantage of this scheme whose:
Age is between 16 to 18 years.
Who has completed studies up to at least the 10th class
For this,a special 7-hour training module has been prepared,in which they will be given both theoretical and practical information. This module will ensure that they get adequate knowledge and skills.
How to apply for ‘Navya Yojana’

Registration facilities will be provided through the website of the Ministry of Women and Child Development the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship,or a special portal.
