Gold Rate Falls Today: Amidst the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, gold prices have been witnessing continuous fluctuations. As the market opened today, gold prices declined significantly. On the MCX, the contract expiring on June 5th fell by approximately ₹2, 500 today, reaching ₹151, 400 per 10 grams. A decline was also witnessed in the IBJA market today, April 2nd.
Gold and silver prices have declined sharply today, April 2nd. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA),the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has dropped by ₹5, 346. Previously, its price stood at ₹150, 853 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the price of one kilogram of silver has fallen by ₹15, 176, settling at ₹224, 660 per kilogram.
What are the latest gold rates today?
According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA),995-purity gold opened at ₹144, 924 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 916-purity gold is holding steady at ₹133, 284 per tola. Gold with 750 purity opened at ₹109, 130 per 10 grams. Additionally, 585-purity gold remains at ₹85, 122 per tola.
MCX Gold Rate
On the MCX, the price of silver fell by ₹13, 613 per kilogram, reaching ₹229, 888 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the price of gold dropped by ₹2, 547 today, settling at ₹151, 161 per 10 grams.
Gold Prices in the International Market
Spot silver fell by 2.9% to $72.95, while spot gold declined by 1.3% to $4, 694.48 per ounce. US gold futures also fell 1.9% to $4, 723.70.
