Gold Rate Crash Today – Gold Drops to ₹2,903 & Silver falls ₹ 6,667 Within 24 Hours

Gold Rate Down Today: Gold and silver prices have declined today, i.e., February 17th. Silver prices have declined today, February 17th. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of one kilogram of silver has fallen by Rs. 6,667 to Rs. 2,34,280. Earlier on Monday, the price of silver was Rs. 2,40,947 per kilogram. Meanwhile, on the gold rate, today the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has fallen by Rs. 2,903 to Rs. 1,51,195 per 10 grams. Earlier on Monday, it was recorded at Rs. 1,54,098 per 10 grams. On January 29th, gold had reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,76,121, and silver, Rs. 3,85,933, in the bullion market. Since then, gold has fallen by ₹24,926, and silver by ₹1,51,653.
Gold, including GST, reached ₹155,730 today, Tuesday. Platinum, meanwhile, fell by ₹2,842 to ₹61,750. These rates were released by the IBJA. The current rate is 12:15 pm.

According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), 23-carat gold opened at ₹150,590 per 10 grams, down by ₹2,891. Its price, including GST, has reached ₹155,107 per tola. 22-carat gold fell by ₹2,659 to ₹138,495 per 10 grams, remaining at ₹142,649 per tola.
Additionally, the price of 18-carat gold declined by ₹2,178 to ₹113,396 per 10 grams, and with GST, it has reached ₹116,797 per 10 grams. Finally, the price of 14-carat gold fell by ₹1,698 and opened at ₹88,449. Including GST, it will be available at ₹91,102 per 10 grams.
The gold and silver rates released by IBJA include 3% GST, making charges, and the jeweller’s margin. Therefore, city-specific rates vary. These rates are used by the RBI to determine the rates for Sovereign Gold Bonds.
