gold price today: Fluctuations in gold and silver prices continue across the country. Daily changes in gold rates are being observed. A slight decline in gold prices is visible in the bullion market. Recently, 24-carat gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) closed at ₹1,54,830 per 10 grams. A marginal drop in gold rates was recorded upon the opening of the MCX market.
Meanwhile, the price of silver was recorded at approximately ₹2,46,500 per kilogram at 11:30 AM on June 8; as of market opening today, the price stands at ₹2,44,701 per kilogram. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,51,489 per 10 grams by Monday evening. Today in India, 24-carat gold appears to be trending between ₹1.55 lakh and ₹1.59 lakh per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold remains at around ₹1.46 lakh per 10 grams. As for silver, the price appears to be hovering between ₹2.75 lakh and ₹2.85 lakh per kilogram. After a slight dip in some markets, prices now appear to be stabilising.
Gold Price MCX
Upon the opening of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) market, the rate for 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,54,697 per tola at 10:13 AM, while the price of silver remained at ₹2,44,900 per kilogram. Overall, the price of gold has fallen by around ₹150, while the price of silver has dropped by approximately ₹ 2,000.
