The rate for 24-carat gold has dropped by approximately ₹1,748 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the price of silver—often referred to as the “white metal”—has also slid by about ₹8,350 per kilogram. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), 999-purity gold opened at ₹158,555 per 10 grams. Last Thursday, it was trading at ₹160,303 per 10 grams. Compared to yesterday, gold prices have declined by ₹1,748 today.
In cities such as Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, and Jaipur, the price of 22-carat gold stands at ₹147,200 per 10 grams. Similarly, the price of 24-carat gold has dropped to ₹160,600 per 10 grams.
