Tata Nexon is included in the list of most popular SUVs in the domestic market. Available with petrol, diesel, and EV powertrains, the starting price of this car is just ₹ 8 lakh ex-showroom. After the success of the current Nexon, Tata Motors has started working on its new generation. The company has given this project the codename ‘Garuda’.

According to reports, the next-gen Tata Nexon can be launched in 2027. Let us tell you that the Tata Nexon was first introduced in 2017. After this, the SUV has received two updates. Let us know about the possible updates in the new generation of Nexon.

Next-gen Tata Nexon will come in the new design

Tata Motors is developing the new generation Nexon on the updated X1 platform. The company will bring the updated model of Nexon after 10 years, so there is a possibility of many big changes in its design.

In this, the exterior and interior can be given a modern touch, as we have seen in the recently launched Tata cars. Apart from this, many updates will be seen in the new generation Nexon in terms of features and safety. At present, the company has not given any official information about this.

Will the journey of the diesel engine end

If reports are to be believed, the new generation Tata Nexon will be introduced with petrol and CNG engines. The current 1.5-liter diesel engine found in it can be discontinued due to emission norms. The demand for diesel engine cars in the country is also continuously decreasing.

Apart from this, Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has also talked about banning the use of diesel engine cars many times. In such a situation, the chances of getting diesel in Nexon are very low.

The current Tata Nexon is priced between ₹ 8 lakh and ₹ 15.60 lakh ex-showroom in the domestic market. For safety, it has features like 6 airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, rear parking sensor hill hold assist, and a 360-degree camera.
