Renault India: The Renault Duster is set to make a comeback in 2025. The brand is bringing a whole new level of style and substance to the compact SUV segment. The 2025 Renault Duster is based on the globally unveiled Dacia Duster and features a refreshed design, a revamped interior, and a slew of new features.
2025 Renault Duster: Design
The 2025 Duster features a muscular design with bold body lines, prominent wheel arches, and rugged cladding. By dimensions, the car measures approximately 4,343 mm in length, 1,813 mm in width, and 1,661 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,657 mm. The SUV boasts a ground clearance of up to 217 mm. From the front, the fascia includes Y-shaped LED lighting and a distinctive grille adorned with the Renault logo.
Duster is expected to keep its small footprint, making it ideal for both urban driving and off-road adventures.
Engine And Performance
Under the hood, the new Duster might offer 3 different engine options for customers. These engine modules are as follows:
- The base variant: It features a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system, generating 130 PS as the maximum power output.
- The Mid Variant: A 1.6-liter strong hybrid petrol engine that combines two electric motors and generates 140 PS.
- Special Edition: 1.0-liter petrol-LPG unit delivering 100 PS, mated with a 6-speed transmission for all-wheel drive capabilities.
Performance-wise, the Duster is trying to offer a balance of fuel efficiency and decent power output.
Specs And Features
The Duster’s interior is designed for comfort and functionality, featuring a premium cabin with soft-touch surfaces. While getting behind the wheel, we can see the dashboard is a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that features both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The vehicle also showcases a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, ample storage spaces, and a boot capacity of 472 liters.
Higher variants might offer features like wireless charging, a premium sound system, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
2025 Renault Duster: Pricing And Variant
The 2025 Renault Duster will be available in multiple variants so that customers can choose their drive according to their choice. The estimated starting price might be around Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. While specific variant details are yet to be announced, Renault plans to offer both manual and automatic transmission options across its range.
