Hyundai Exter is a popular compact SUV known for its strong design and great features. Recently, the company released the January 2025 sales report for Exter. According to the sales report, 6,068 units of Exter were sold last month. In this article, let’s look at its latest sales report and the features of this car.
Hyundai Exter Sales January 2025
Last month, Hyundai Motor India sold about 6,068 units of the Exter SUV, which shows a decline of 26% year-on-year (YoY) as compared to 8,229 units sold in the same period in 2024. However, sales have increased by 13.15 percent on a monthly basis. It sold 5,270 units in December 2024.
Hyundai Exter Powertrain
This SUV has two powertrain options. Its 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine generates 83 PS horsepower and 114 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission or 5-speed AMT option.
On the other hand, it gets a 1.2-litre petrol-CNG engine which gives 69 horsepower and 95 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only. If we talk about its mileage, then its petrol variant is capable of giving mileage up to 19.4 kmpl, and the CNG variant 27.1 km/kg.
Hyundai Exter Features and Safety
Although its features may vary depending on the variant you choose, some of the main features include features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, LED DRL, semi-digital driver display, wireless phone charger, auto AC, and cruise control. It also gets a dash cam with a sunroof and dual camera.
For safety, all variants get safety features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), rear parking camera, rain-sensing wipers, and ISOFIX child-seat anchorage.
Hyundai Exter Price and Variants
The ex-showroom price of this SUV starts at Rs 6.20 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.50 lakh ex-showroom. Hyundai Exter is available for sale in 9 variants. It includes variants like EX, EX (O), S, S Plus, S (O), S (O) Plus, SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Connect.
The new Hyundai XT SUV is sold in many color options. These include Khaki, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Atlas White, Cosmic Blue, Abyss Black, Shadow Gray and Titan Gray. It can comfortably seat 5 people.
