TVS Bikes And Scooters Sales report: TVS Motor Company sold 3,97,623 vehicles, up 17 per cent from 3,39,513 units in January 2024 last year. TVS motorcycles and scooters as well as 3-wheelers are very popular in the Indian market. TVS recorded a 46 percent increase in international trade in January 2025, while domestic sales registered a 10 percent year-on-year increase. In the electric vehicle (EV) segment, TVS has registered a record growth of 55 per cent.
Strong performance in the bike-scooter segment
TVS Motor Company recorded an impressive year-on-year growth of 18 per cent in the two-wheeler segment. In January 2024, TVS sold 3,29,937 units of bikes and scooters, while in January 2025, the figure reached 3,87,671 units.
Growth in every segment
TVS Motor Company sold 2,93,860 units in the domestic market last January 2025, with an annual growth of 10 per cent. In the motorcycle segment, it increased by 12 per cent from 1,55,611 units to 1,74,388 units. Scooter sales rose 29% from 1,32,290 to 1,71,111 units. Exports of two-wheelers increased by 52% to 93,811 units from 61,704 units.
55% growth in EV segment
Let me tell you that TVS’s electric vehicles (EVs) had a great performance last January. TVS electric scooter sales increased from 16,276 units in January 2024 to 5,195 units in January 2025, up 55 per cent year-on-year. Total exports of TVS have increased by 46 per cent to 1,01,055 units in January 2025.
Also fast in the 3-wheeler segment
TVS Motor Company’s three-wheeler segment saw a growth of 4 per cent last January, with sales of 9,576 units in January 2024, rising to 9,952 units in January 2025. Overall, it can be said that the TVS Motor Company has made a great start by 2025. The company’s sales are steadily increasing due to two-wheelers, electric vehicles and a strong grip in international markets.
