Honda Activa 2025: Launched with a new TFT console and modern features

Honda Activa 2025: Amid the growing demand for hybrid vehicles, Honda has launched the 2025 Honda Activa replacing the Activa 6G. The company has not increased the price of the 2025 Activa significantly despite the new features. This keeps it very competitive against the other 110cc scooters like the TVS Jupiter 110 Scooter.

Interestingly, while many were expecting this new model to be named Activa 7G, Honda has removed the ‘G’ Monica to keep it as simple as Honda Activa. Many riders are curious about what has changed, so let’s compare the old Activa with the new Activa.

New TFT console and design updates

The biggest change in the 2025 Activa is the new TFT console. It shows real-time data like speed, fuel level, trip meter, and odometer reading. The screen is clear and has a white background for better visibility. Additionally, the 2025 Activa comes with smartphone connectivity. Riders can now enjoy turn-by-turn navigation, and call and SMS alerts during daily commutes. The Activa 6G, on the other hand, did not have the feature-rich smart instrument cluster.

The 2025 Activa follows the typical Activa design but has slight improvements. It has a more streamlined and contemporary look, which helps it keep up with its new features. The Activa 6G was more conventionally and dynamically styled, with the minimal stylistic features.

Engine Compliance and Performance

Both scooters have the same 109.51cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 5.77 kW power and 8.90 Nm torque. The 2025 Honda Activa is OBD-2B compliant, which means it is more eco-friendly. The Activa 6G, on the other hand, was only BS6-compliant.

Suspension, Braking, and Wheels

There are no major changes in the suspension setup. Both scooters get telescopic front forks at the front and a single-sided shock absorber at the rear. Both the 2025 Activa and Activa 6G retain the same wheel configuration, a 12-inch front wheel and a 10-inch rear wheel.

The brakes also remain the same, both wheels get 130mm drum brakes. Honda has not offered the disc brake variant option in the recent new scooter.
