Volkswagen Tayron R-Line

Let me tell you first of all, Volkswagen will launch its new SUV Tayron in India later this month. This model will only come in full-loaded R-Line trim and is designed with premium customers in mind.

This SUV will directly compete with Skoda Kodiaq, but the positioning will be slightly above that. It will feature 19-inch alloy wheels, level-2 ADAS safety features, a 15-inch large touchscreen infotainment system, and several exclusive elements. The engine, gearbox and drivetrain layout will remain the same, but the features will give it a more luxury feel.

Between April and June, Volkswagen will also offer some simple and low feature variants of the Tayron. The design of these variants will be a bit plain, but the core DNA will remain the same. Talking about the price, the initial price of Regular Tayron is considered to be around 45 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). For customers who want Volkswagen’s premium SUV, but R-Line’s budget looks heavy, it can become a balanced option.
