RE Flying Flea C6: Royal Enfield has finally made its grand debut in electric form. The company has officially launched its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in India under its new sub-brand, “Flying Flea.” This bike, with its glorious history dating back to the 1940s and a powerful blend of modern technology, is not only renowned for its unique looks, but its BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) plan makes it a strong and affordable option for customers. If you too desire freedom from the hassles of petrol and are looking for a ride that is light to ride and has a smooth ride on the roads, this “flying steel” is a strong choice for you. Bookings open in Bengaluru from April 10, 2026.
Neo-Retro Design
The Flying Flea C6’s design is strongly inspired by the original “Flying Flea” of World War II, which was dropped by parachute. Its most iconic feature is its forged aluminium girder fork suspension, a feature rarely seen on modern bikes today. Its chassis is made of aluminium, making the bike weigh just 124 kg.
This strong and lightweight structure helps it handle comfortably in heavy city traffic. The company has introduced it in two bold and attractive colors, “Flea Green” and “Storm Black,” which will create a unique and powerful presence on the roads.
Engine, Strong Performance, and Range
In terms of performance, the C6 features a robust 3.91 kWh battery pack that produces 15.4 kW of peak power and 60 Nm of torque. The powerful torque output at the wheels is over 400 Nm, giving it strong off-road agility. The bike can reach a top speed of 115 km/h and features a variety of powerful riding modes. It offers a robust range of 154 km (IDC) on a single full charge. Its battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 60 minutes, giving you incredible confidence even on long journeys.
BaaS Plan and Pricing
Royal Enfield has adopted a robust pricing strategy. The Flying Flea C6’s full ex-showroom price is ₹2.79 lakh, but if you opt for the BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) option, you’ll get the bike for a robust ₹1.99 lakh. Under the BaaS plan, you don’t have to pay for the battery separately; instead, you pay a solid rental fee based on usage. This option not only significantly reduces the initial cost but also provides complete freedom from worrying about battery life and maintenance.
Safety and High-Tech Features
Royal Enfield has built this motorcycle into a formidable force on the safety front. It features robust features like lean-angle ABS, traction control, and cruise control, ensuring a strong grip on all terrains. Furthermore, it features a robust TFT interface with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G connectivity, controlled via a joystick. Powerful features like voice assist and live location sharing make it one of the most robust and smart electric motorcycles available today.
