Booking and Delivery
Booking of Mahindra XUV 7XO is going to start in India from 14 January 2026. The company has limited the initial prices to the first 40,000 customers, adopting an interesting strategy that has both keenness and demand in the market.
Talking about delivery, delivery of high-spec variants like AX7, AX7T and AX7L will start from 26 January 2026. At the same time, customers will have to wait until April 2026 for the AX, AX3 and AX5 variants.

Variants and seating options
Let me tell you that Mahindra XUV 7XO has been introduced in a total of six variants like AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T and AX7L. The special thing is that both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations are found in the top variants.

The entry-level AX variant comes in just the petrol manual and 7-seater option, priced at ₹13.66 lakhs. The AX3 and AX5 variants offer both petrol and diesel options, giving buyers more flexibility. The XUV 7XO changes to a fully premium SUV as soon as it goes above the AX7.
Price
Now let’s talk about its price, the price of the AX3 variant goes from ₹16.02 lakhs (petrol MT) to ₹16.49 lakhs (diesel MT). In AX5 this price reaches ₹17.52 lakhs to ₹17.99 lakhs.

The AX7 variant, which initiates the high-spec range, comes in ₹18.48 lakhs (petrol MT) and ₹18.95 lakhs (diesel MT). Prices in the AX7T and AX7L variants go from ₹20.99 lakhs to ₹24.11 lakhs, where both petrol and diesel automatic options exist.

Automatic and AWD
Let me tell you that for those customers who prefer automatic SUVs, the option of a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is given, which costs about ₹1.45 lakh more than the manual.
In addition, diesel variants also offer an all-wheel drive (AWD) option, for which an additional ₹2.45 lakhs will have to be given. This feature will especially be liked by those who drive more on hilly areas or bad roads.

Engine and performance
Mahindra XUV 7XO is powered by a 2.0-liter mStallion TGDi petrol and a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine. The petrol manual variant accelerates from 0 to 60 kmph in less than 5 seconds. Drive modes include Zip, Zap, and Zoom, along with a Custom mode, allowing the driver to customize the SUV’s behavior.

Comfort and luxury
