Honda CBR500R: Honda is a brand which is loved by almost everyone in the country and It’s not wrong if I say once in life almost every Indians experienced a ride on Honda bikes or scooters because, it is purchased by a huge number of consumers whether if you talk about the Bike taxis like Rapido and Uber to a salaried uncle.

The company has varieties of bikes, whether it’s normal day to day usable bikes to a hardcore sports bike, Due to this the bikes craze of Honda is also seen in youngsters.

Talking about Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the company has filed new patents for several motorcycles. One of them came into a light which is a new 500cc CBR500R. So, Let’s know about this patented bike in detail;

Honda CBR500R Specifications and Features:

The bike is slightly heavier with a kerb weight of 196 kg, but it’s seat height is 784 mm. In 2022, the motorcycle got an update in the form of upside down forks replacing the telescopic units. Braking duties are performed by discs at both ends.

Coming to its engine, here the motorcycle comes with a 469cc parallel-twin-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 48 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 45 nm of torque at 6,400 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

The CBR500R features a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and LED lighting.

Honda CBR500R Price and Launch Date:

Currently, Honda has only patented this bike in the country there’s not any other information about this bike whether it’ll launch in India at what price but considering the features we can expect the bike around Rs 4.75 lakhs to 5.06 lakhs and if it comes to the Indian market, it will compete with the upcoming Kawasaki Ninja Z500 and others in this segment.
