Honda Electric Vehicle : Launch, Features, and What to Expect by 2026

Honda Electric Vehicle : There has been a tremendous surge in demand for electric vehicles (EVs) during the past few years. Now, every major car maker has a dream to build a real EV, and with that, active moves are made to produce real EVs. Honda too joined the race, and it is rumored that an electric version of Honda Elevate is rolling on Indian soil. This move signals which way Honda is gearing itself for future prospects.
By 2026-27, there will be at least three electric or hybrid models in India, according to Honda. It is possible that one of these will be an EV based on the Elevate. Later on, the company claimed that the next BEV would not, in fact, be under the Elevate umbrella.
While this EV will share some design ideas from Elevate, it will ride on a new electric architecture. The price is projected to hover around 20 lakhs as Honda wants to give a serious competition to other EV makers. India will most likely be the first market to witness the new electric vehicle. Honda is setting up its production plants for manufacturing, having solid capabilities for export to other countries.
Like any other EV, this too will face problems like battery life, charging network, or range-and Honda is likely going to work on those.
Now, the timeline for the Elevate rightly looks a little mixed up, but the mind doesn’t really create ambiguity because Honda has not clarified whether it is going to be based on the Elevate.
