If you are thinking of buying an electric scooter, then Bajaj Auto has launched the cheapest variant of the 35 series of its popular electric scooter Chetak – 3503. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at ₹ 1.10 lakh. This next-generation model was launched in India in December last year with cosmetic changes and mechanical upgrades, but the price of the 3503 variant has been announced now. Its other variants 3501 and 3502 are already available in the market. Now the dream of riding a Chetak will come true even on a low budget.
New chassis and Huge Storage
The updated Bajaj Chetak scooter uses the new chassis frame, in which the powerful battery pack is now placed under the floorboard part. With this change, now this e-scooter will get 35 liters of under seat storage space, which will allow more luggage than ever.
It has a larger 3.5kWh battery pack. The company claims that this new electric scooter will give a range of 153km once fully charged. However, it has fewer features than the other variants 3501 and 3502, so that the price can be kept affordable.

Great warranty
The Bajaj Chetak 35 series e-scooter is the top-end of series in the Bajaj company’s EV lineup today. The Chetak 3501 is now priced at the 1,27,243 rupees, while the Bajaj 3502 series is now priced at the 1,19,999 rupees. The company is offering a 3-year / 50,000 km warranty with the new Chetak.
Bajaj has increased dealerships in 507 cities and this scooter can also be purchased on e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart. Its booking has been started on the official website of Bajaj. The new Chetak electric scooter 35 series is being manufactured at the Bajaj plant in Akurdi, Pune, where the production of the Chetak scooter started for the first time in 1972.
Powerful performance
The Chetak 35 series has an electric motor for performance. The company has not yet given information about its exact power. The company claims that the 3501 and 3502 models of the e-scooter can achieve a top speed of 73kmph. At the same time, the top speed of 3503 will be 63kmph. A new 3.5kWh battery pack has been given to power the electric motor, which is the largest battery pack ever in Chetak.
The company claims that the scooter will give an IDC-certified range of 153km on a single full charge and an actual range of 120-125km. The 3501 model will get a 950W onboard charger, which can charge the battery pack from 0-80% in just 3 hours. At the same time, the 3502 gets a 950W offboard charger, which can charge the scooter from 0-80% in 3 hours and 25 minutes.
Stylish design
The Chetak scooter may look like the old model, but technically many changes have been made to it. The platform of the scooter has also been changed. In the new platform, changes have also been made to the control system, motor panel, battery position, and structure. This gives the scooter better range, storage space, and comfort than before.
The new Bajaj Chetak 35 series e-scooter has a front horseshoe-shaped LED DRL, a retro-style design with chrome elements, and a sloping tail section. The 35 series will get an 80mm longer seat than other variants, which will provide comfortable seating. The e-scooter now has a larger floorboard, which gives more knee space than before. The Chetak 35 series e-scooter will get 35 liters of storage under the seat, in which you can easily keep your important items.
