All-New Honda Activa e! Now In Stores Available For The Consumers

Honda Activa e: The electric version of India’s best-selling scooter Honda Activa was launched in the country last year.

The company has started the booking of scooters from January 1 this year(2025), those who had booked have started getting the delivery of their scooter from February 1, 2025.

Currently this electric scooter is available only in cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The company has announced plans to develop battery swapping stations to launch these scooters in other cities also.

Honda Activa e Specifications:

In the new Activa EV, you get a dual swappable battery of 1.5 kWh, which will give a range of 99 km in a single charge. With a swappable battery, this scooter generates power of 6kW at a torque of 22 nm.

However, batteries can be replaced at Honda’s Power Pack Exchanger battery swapping stations. Honda has installed 84 such stations in Bangalore.

Although, The scooter is also available without battery option, customers can buy this scooter without battery and will be able to take the battery on rent under the “Battery As A Service Model”. Well, the company will release this plan later.

Honda Activa e Features:

Considering the Indian environment, Honda has added many special features in this electric scooter. For example, its body design is based on the petrol Honda Activa, which may be a matter of sadness for some people. At the same time, the company has given a ground clearance of 171 mm, which could have been increased a little more.

It will have 12 inch wheels, disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear. It has 3 driving modes, Standard, Sport and Econ. Also, there is a reverse mode for ease of parking.

Due to the swappable battery in the scooter, the boot space is very less in it. But the company has also provided a small boot space in the front, which also has a USB port for mobile charging. It is like the top variant of Petrol Activa.

The company will also offer H-Smart Key with Activa EV. This will be available with the RoadSync Duo smartphone variant. It has features like smart find, smart safe, smart unlock and smart start.

Honda Activa e Price and Variants:

The company has brought Honda Activa EV in Standard and RoadSync Duo variants. In this, the weight of the standard variant is 115 kg and the weight of the RoadSync Duo variant is 118 kg. Both the scooters have different displays and features.

In the standard variant, you get to see a 5-inch TFT screen. It has limited Bluetooth connectivity and functionalities. Whereas the RoadSync Duo variant has a 7-inch dashboard, which gives you the facility of turn-by-turn navigation, notification alerts.

The new Activa e starts from Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom) for its top model. However, Prices may vary based on different geographical locations.

Note:- These electric scooters will be sold from Honda’s existing stores only, but very soon the company will also open a separate concept store just for their electric scooters.
