Hyundai Creta: yundai Creta has become the best-selling car in India in 2025. People have been having faith in this SUV consistently,and sales reports have been high for seven consecutive months. The Creta was introduced a decade back,and it has now become the segment leader in the mid-size SUV segment. More than 12 lakh units have been retailed since the launch,and its current market share stands at more than 31% in its segment. Hyundai has sold 1,17,458 units in the first seven months of 2025 alone,up by 8% from last year.
Engine and Price
Hyundai Creta comes in three engine options. There are three choices available for customers in terms of 1.5-litre petrol engine,1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine,and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The vehicle is available for both manual and automatic transmission to accommodate various drive choices. The price varies from ₹11.11 lakh to ₹20.50 lakh (ex-showroom) based on the variant.
Mileage Performance
Fuel efficiency is among the top reasons for the Creta’s popularity. The petrol manual version provides 17.4 km/l,and the petrol automatic version provides up to 18.4 km/l. In diesel,the manual car gives 21.8 km/l and the automatic provides 19.1 km/l. All of these mileage figures are competitive for both urban and highway drives.
Features and Safety
Hyundai has loaded the new Creta with high-end features. It features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system,a digital instrument cluster,wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay,and a wireless phone charger. There are also ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof that contribute to the luxury atmosphere. For safety,the SUV has six airbags,a 360-degree camera,and Level-2 ADAS features such as forward collision warning,blind-spot monitoring,and collision avoidance assist. These include characteristics that increase both driving comfort and confidence.
