2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S – 2026 has started with an interesting news in the Indian cruiser bike segment. Known for its strong road presence, low-slung design and smooth twin-cylinder engine, the Kawasaki Vulcan S has now launched in the 2026 model year. The new Kawasaki Vulcan S is priced at ₹8.13 lakhs (ex-showroom), approximately ₹54,000 more than the previous MY24 model.
This cruiser bike, which has been in India since 2018, directly competes with bikes such as the Honda Rebel 500 and Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. Now some urgent changes have been made with the 2026 update, making it more ready for the future.

New Update
Biggest update to the 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S is its E20 fuel implant. E20 petrol is gradually being standardized in India and in such an update becomes very important. In the new model, some components of the fuel system and changes in engine calibration have been made, so that the E20 fuel does not have any negative impact on the engine.

This update gives mental peace to riders who worry about fuel quality in the future. Although the bike looks the same old Vulcan S when viewed from outside, it has adapted itself according to the rules coming from inside.

Engine and performance
The 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S gets the same reliable 649cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that is already well-known. This engine generates power of 61 PS, which is the same as the previous model.
However, there is a slight drop in torque output. While this engine used to give torque of 62.4 Nm, it has now come to 61 Nm. This slight change may have been due to updates associated with the engine and exhaust made for the E20 Compliance.

New Black colour and muscular look
Let me tell you that in the 2026 model, Kawasaki has introduced the new Metallic Flat Spark Black Color in Vulcan S. At the same time, the Pearl Matte Sage Green color found in the old model has now been removed. The new all-black theme has made the bike’s road presence even more aggressive.
Almost every part of the headlamp cowl, engine, exhaust shield and frame comes with a blacked-out finish. This look further embosses the cruiser character of Vulcan S and gives it a dark knight-like feel on the streets of the night.

Design and Riding Comfort
Talking about design, there has been no major change in the 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S. Its angular headlamp, classic shaped fuel tank, 2-into-1 exhaust and wide rear fender are the same as before.

Hardware, Suspension and Braking Setup
The same setup has been continued in the 2026 model on hardware as well. The bike is built on a perimeter frame, with a 41 mm telescopic front forks. Offset laddown at the rear is given single-shock suspension, which comes with linkage and gives better ride comfort.
Disc brakes of 300 mm and rear 250 mm are found for braking. Dual-channel ABS is standard, which helps prevent this weighty cruiser safely.
