Why did you ban Telegram?
Telegram is often the first name to come up in a paper leak case. Telegram is used by many people to sell such items, which is illegal. It’s also widely used by cyber scammers. In addition, any movie on Telegram is leaked here as soon as it is released. Creating an account on Telegram is quite easy. Which people also take advantage of for wrong deeds. Large groups can be created on Telegram, with thousands of members.
How was the edit feature misused?
According to NTA, a Telegram channel admin can edit old messages later. He can add a new PDF or other file to an already-sent message, while the message’s timestamp remains the same. Taking advantage of this facility, some people added the real question paper after the exam was over and claimed that the paper had been leaked.
According to the NTA, some telegraph channels also made false promises to give exam papers by taking money from students and their parents. These channels were run under names like “PAPER LEAKED NEET”, “Re-NEET 2026”, “REE NEET MAFIAA”. The agency has clarified that the examination question papers are kept in a secure system.
