Petrol Diesel Price: Big news is here. In response to PM Narendra Modi’s request to avoid purchasing gold, the price of gold in India has surged considerably. However, fuel prices have not changed, even with the call to cut down on petrol and diesel usage. This situation persists despite Indian companies facing daily losses of around Rs 1,000 crore due to the price increase. At the same time, tensions in West Asia have caused petrol and diesel prices to rise in various countries, including the US, Israel, and India’s neighboring nations.

How much have petrol and diesel prices increased in Pakistan?

As reported by GlobalPetrolPrice.com, petrol prices in Pakistan have surged by 60.7% amid the conflict in Iran. In Sri Lanka, petrol prices have increased by 38.2%, while diesel prices have gone up by 41.8%. In Nepal, petrol prices have also risen by 38.2%, with diesel prices climbing by 58.5% during this time.

Diesel prices in Laos have skyrocketed by 149.7%.

During this period, diesel prices in Laos have soared by 149.7%, and petrol prices have increased by 35.8%. In Myanmar, petrol prices have risen by 89.2%, and diesel prices have gone up by 103.7%. In the Philippines, petrol prices have increased by 65.3%, while diesel prices have risen by 58.4%. In New Zealand, diesel prices have surged by 88.6%, and petrol prices have gone up by 30.7%.

 

In Malaysia, petrol prices have risen by 58.3%, and diesel prices have increased by 72.9%. In the UAE, petrol prices have gone up by 52.4%, while diesel prices have surged by 86%. In the United States, petrol prices have seen a significant increase of 46%, and diesel prices have risen by over 48%.

Update on oil rates in the domestic market

While global crude prices remain volatile, domestic petrol and diesel prices remain at the same level as they have been in the last four years. Recently, the Petroleum Minister dismissed claims that petrol and diesel prices would rise after the elections. The government issued a statement stating that there are currently no plans to increase oil prices in the country. He also dismissed as false reports that oil companies might increase petrol and diesel prices by 25 to 28 rupees after the assembly elections in five states.
