A Geekbench listing recently revealed that the global version of the Reno 16 might be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Oppo had launched the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro in China, which comes with Dimensity 8550 Super and Dimensity 9500s chipsets.
The Geekbench listing revealed that the Reno 16 Pro has 12GB of RAM and will run on Android 16. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the device received 1,575 and 5,889 points, respectively.
OPPO Reno 16 Launch in India
The launch date of the OPPO Reno 16 series has reportedly been confirmed in India. According to well-known tipster Abhishek Yadav, the OPPO Reno 16 series in India could launch on July 2. The tipster on the social media platform X has exclusively reported that the series launch is only a few weeks away and that it will be released in India on July 2. However, Oppo hasn’t officially confirmed it yet.

The 12GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant of the base model of the smartphone series launched in China starts at CNY 3,499 (about Rs 49,000). The price of the Oppo Reno 16 Pro variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage starts at CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs 63,000).
