JEE Advanced Exam Guidelines: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will conduct JEE Advanced 2026 across 221 cities in India on May 17. The examination is scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 17. The first paper of JEE Advanced will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second paper is scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The morning session of JEE Advanced 2026 will commence at 9:00 AM, requiring candidates to reach the examination center by 8:30 AM.
For the afternoon session, it is mandatory to arrive by 2:00 PM. Candidates appearing for the examination can download their admit cards via the official website. Students should note that carrying the admit card to the examination is mandatory; without a hall ticket, you will not be permitted to sit inside the examination center. The admit cards were released on May 11.

JEE Advanced 2026 Examination Guidelines:
Students appearing for the JEE Advanced 2026 examination must carry their admit cards with them. Without it, they will not be permitted to sit for the examination. Along with the JEE Advanced admit card, it is advisable to bring a government-issued photo identity card (such as a PAN Card or Voter ID Card) as proof of identity. Carrying any type of electronic device—such as smartphones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, or pagers—to the examination center is strictly prohibited.
Dress Code for Male Candidates
Candidates should wear casual trousers, pants, or jeans.
It is advisable to wear slippers; do not wear shoes.
Candidates should not wear hats, mufflers, or any form of head covering.
Dress Code for Female Candidates
Candidates should wear leggings or trousers.
Wear simple sandals and avoid wearing shoes.
Do not carry handbags or purses inside the examination center.
